Returns
We're sorry if things didn't work out for you, but here's the good news: we accept exchanges or returns for online orders within five (5) days upon receiving the merchandise for most items. For purchases at the physical store within seven (7) days after making the purchase. And for layaways within seven (7) days from the start day of the layaway.
For online orders, if more than 5 days have gone by since you received the order, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a store credit or exchange. And for purchases and layaways at the physical store, if more than 7 days have gone by since making the purchase or since the start day of the layaway, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a store credit or exchange.
Easy Returns!- How to return an item?
Returns for online store credit will be processed free of charge.
1) Start your return by sending us an email to info@modalier.com with your name, order number, model and size you want to return. Indicate the reason for your return (within 5 days after receiving your order). If you prefer an exchange, also include for what model, size and color you want to make the exchange.
2) We will send you an email with the address and indications for you to send us the product. Please do not send your product back to the address you’ll find in the package in which you received your order, or to the manufacturer.
3) Proceed to send us the product (within 2 days after we send you the email with the address).
4) Store Credit- Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection. If you are approved, then a store credit will be applied to your Modalier account. If you want to make an exchange for the same product or for a different one, you just use your store credit for your new product(s).
Refunds- Refunds do not apply to in-store purchases, only apply to online purchases. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must be in the same conditions that you received it, unaltered, with tags attached, and in the original packaging. If your item is not electronic, it must also be unworn or unused.
Some types of goods are exempt from being returned: any item with embellishments including glitter or sequins, any item from final sales, any seasonal item, products that are intimate or sanitary goods (like panties, swimwear bottoms, opened makeup, makeup brushes, earrings, and ear cuffs), some health and personal care items, flammable liquids, items from the brand La Divine, and gift cards.
Pre-orders are final sale and are not eligible for exchanges or refunds.
Layaway items may be exchanged within 7 days from the start date of the layaway. No refunds will be issued. A 50% deposit of the total item price is required to place an item on layaway. Customers have up to 60 days to pay the remaining balance. No additional payments are required between the initial deposit and the final balance. Seasonal merchandise and items with embellishments (including glitter or sequins) are final sale and are not eligible for exchange or store credit. No refunds will be issued. If the balance is not paid within the 60-day period, the item may be released for sale and the deposit will be forfeited.
For eligible returns, we offer exchange or store credit. The only orders eligible for return for refund are: if your item arrives damaged, doesn't match the listing description, or is the wrong item.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@modalier.com.
Shipping
Original shipping charges are non-refundable and return shipping charges are at your own cost. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are shipping an item over $3, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
